Whenever a doctor is visiting his patient, he generally carries in his bag (only) equipment for a quick diagnosis, at best a couple of fast-acting medicines and his own experience. The doctor as a single person, however experienced, cannot replace an entire hospital. This is hardly differnet where the mobile oil anlyses are concerned. There is a large number of oil parameters that can be analysed directly at the machine and can lead to a reasonably reliable assessment of the state of the oil, but for this (just like for the doctor) it is of importance that one has not only the technical equipment at hand but that those using it also have the necessary experience. Nevertheless, even in the best case, mobile oil analysis equipment and / or mobile oil analyses cannot replace a complete oil analysis in the laboratory.
