Innovative KLEENOIL PANOLIN system prevails in the category Fluid- and Drive Technology

The product idea KLEENOIL PANOLIN ICC – „machines without oil change“ has been elected as the winner of the Industry Award in the category Fluid and Drive Technology on the occasion of this year’s Hannover Messe

The complete concept of the KLEENOIL PANOLIN system prevailed in the face of hundreds high quality applications and convinced with the high innovation potential of the complete concept.  The innovation potential of the concept was judged based on criteria such as novelty, product maturity and future orientation as well as recognisable benefit for the application in the industry, functionality, effects on raising efficiency and process optimization. 

The Chairman of the KLEENOIL PANOLIN AG, Mr. Milorad Krstic, has been following the idea of “machines without oil change” for more than two decades. The complete concept and the new development of KLEENOIL ICC (Identification Contamination Control) is the achievement that has been awarded. The machine users will not only have the direct benefit of saving oil changes, but also further considerable saving potentials in the area of energy savings. High quality and especially clean lubricating and hydraulic fluids signify a significant reduction of friction resistance and a general reduction of wear. This quickly results in energy savings of more than 10%. Further advantages are due to lower liability, as it concerns rapidly biodegradable operating fluids, as well as protection of the resources.

In order to reach the overall aim of „machines without oil change“, it was necessary to develop a system, field test the single components and adjust them to a system. Machines without oil change are an aim that we can achieve through a system that consists of three system components.

1. Long-term suitable hydraulic oil PANOLIN HLP SYNTH – Rapidly biodegradable, fully synthetic hydraulic oil on the basis of saturated synthetic esters. Meets and exceeds most of the known national and international environmental protection requirements. Field tested with more than 1bn operating hours for long-term application of up to > 100.000 op. h without oil change. Approved for use by leading machine and component manufacturers.

2. KLEENOIL By-pass filtration, for the application in the by-pass with filter cartridges that work on the basis of depth filtration with a high dirt and water retention capacity as well as a filter fineness of 1μm.

3. KLEENOIL ICC – Identification Contamination Control is a newly developed oil analysis sensor designed for the online oil analysis in the machine. The analysis results are shown via a LED on the operating panel. At the same time the system offers the possibility of collecting the analysis data and saving it on the board computer. The KLEENOIL ICC is calibrated to the fluid in use. The oil quality monitoring is done during operation. KLEENOIL ICC has patent pending.
