Our Business Area
Since 1986 we have been active in the area of rapidly biodegradable oils and lubricants. During this time rapidly biodegradable hydraulic and motor oils have gained merit in both European and international markets. For environmental reasons they have become essential in many areas of application. With our products and our concept of application we have ensured that there is no financial penalty either. Our PANOLIN products, based on saturated synthetic esters, have proved that there is no additional cost to the user (due to their long life capabilities) when using environmental considerate products. Therefore our rapidly biodegradable lubricants have become an integral part of the lasting environmental commitment of our customers.
As crude oil reserves are becoming increasingly scarce there is another economic pressure to use more lubricants made from alternative resources. It is important to only select products that are also suitable for the extension of oil change intervals. This point might gain importance rather quickly; thanks to modernised refinery processes the mineral oil industry will continue to produce a higher and higher share of fuels from less and less raw material. This leads to less raw material being available for the lubricants’ industry which also become more and more expensive.
The saying “Waste not, want not.” may be old but it is certainly not out-dated. Saving oil is not just an option but a necessity. Since 1986 we have been working on concepts to extend oil change intervals. We offer our customers a technologic support network which consists primarily from:

as well as further advice.
Oil is not a disposable product and should not be changed as often as possible but only as often as necessary. For most of our customers and users of plant and equipment it is normal that the oil has to be exchanged infrequently, or often not all during the entire useful life of a machine.
It is a business area full of tension with many polarizing thoughts and continuous progress.
